Citizens on the move,

is the name of a Comenius project between 5 different schools from England, Italy, Spain, Poland and France. The project lasts 3 years and during these years there are exchanges between the 5 countries; the students live in the houses of the families of the accommodating country. It is a beautiful experience, because we start knowing each other, we create new ties and important friendships. But a part of all this is also an exchange of cultures. While laughing and joking we can learn new words and new ways of living.

The project Socrates Comenius is an opportunity also for staying, even if for a few days, in other countries, where for sure there aren't our same customs. What we can learn is also that boys and girls are all the same all over the world. even if with various breakfasts and suppers; till now we have made 2 exchanges, one in Poland and one in Italy. Both very beautiful and fuli of emotions! The journey here in Italy lasted 5 days; the meeting was about immigration and emigration in each country; on the first day we all talked about it and also about our traditions; after this speech we took our guests to a European buffet" where there were typical food specialities from England.

Spain, Poland, France and Italy.

Our guests arrived at the beginning of march and during those days we took them to a lot of places: Novara; the centre of Magenta, where we could visit a lot of important monuments (like The ossario or the cathedral of S. Martino); Milan, where we visited the Cathedral (Duomo), the Castle Sforzesco and then we also went shopping; Genoa where we went to the aquarium and we saw a lot of different types of fascinating fish! And at the end of the journey to Genoa we went to see Camogli, to eat focaccia and see the sea. The departure day was a sad moment, because during the week we had made a lot of friends; we are still in touch with them and it's a nice thing, because it means Chat we can have friends even if they are too far from us! We look forward to the other exchanges (in order: France, England and Spain) and we hope to meet again all the people we met here!!
