The aims of our project

have been mainly two:

Making the other participants in the project know us. Analysing the migratory movements in our country, region and town through history and the influences they have had in these different fields.

To get the first aim, our students worked throughout October on those most representative aspects of our country,region and town to make the other students know.

The result of this work was presented in the first meeting that took place in Poland in November 2005.

The second aim was worked in January and February 2006. The students investigated about the different migratory movements in our country (region, town) through history and about the contribution made by these peoples. The result of this work was presented in the meeting that took place in Italy in March 2006.

In April and May the students continued working about the possible influences received through the contact with other peoples in specific fields like: Language or local dialect Games and popular sports Music and popular festivals Local economy

Methodology

In this work made by the students the priority has been given to the use of new technologies and communications.

Firstly, the students looked for infoprmation in internet, in public libraries,the school library and other information centres.

Secondly, the students analysed the information in small groups.

Afterwards, they discussed and debated in a bigger group.

Finally, a commission was aked to prepare the conclusions and make a power point
